Save Food, Save Money

Supported by Kirklees Council, I am pleased to give everyone the chance to take part in a free, Save Food, Save Money workshop.

Why not find out about ways you can reduce food waste in your home and save money on your bills.  Book a place and come along and also share your own food saving tips and suggestions.

Facilitated by Community Food Worker Bev Juniper, you’ll get top tips on how to reduce food waste and save money on shopping bills. There will be simple to follow recipes for using up odds and ends from the fridge, freezer and food cupboards, and plenty of ways for participants to get involved – opportunities to ask questions as well as being signposted to other helpful food saving resources.

Reducing food waste plays a major role in tackling climate change and is an easy way that everyone can play their part in reducing our impact on the planet. Not only does reducing food waste help the environment, reducing what you throw away means spending less during these economically testing times.
